HI IM BACK!!
and im alr starting to miss lahu and the whole trip and the whole team!
actually our trip was really a great balance of work play and shopping really. i really miss every moment we were there.
the digging, the cold water, the choking toilet bowl, the house, the church, the tents, the kids, the lessons, the cultural night practices, the suannings, the meals, the communal brushing of teeth, the da4 ma1, the lessons conducted with all the tu!(means stand) and mer!(means sit) and teh ni shea! (means 1 2 3), the thai mvs in the van rides, the sunrise, the harmonizing and singing! etc etc etc
sigh EVERYTHING!
it was really quite sad leaving the village. its like leaving a place you know its hard to return. im wanna see how the kids will grow up to. the naughty mischevious archicha with his super gd brother songcha. the super handsome tahwa, super pretty nahla and her brother palawa. argh!
the only comforting thing is that i will still be able to see my fellow quenching agents still nxt yr! im so fortunate i chose isle instead of oteam, so glad i chose lahu over the other isle projects cause im so glad i got to know this whole lovely bunch! everyone is so happy, so nice, each playing their part in this trip to make it such a fruitful and enjoyable one! hope and looking forward to seeing all of them in the isle christmas party!
